External access

You can use the webmail interface for email.

Email settings

Use the following settings for your email program to access the emails:

SMTP:, Port 465, SSL enabled
IMAP:, Port 993, SSL enabled

Your email program will complain about the self signed ssl certificate. Please check the fingerprints:

Internal setup for new FACT machines

To send emails from the clients, please use the following setup. We recommend to use the "ssmtp" package

apt-get install ssmtp postfix-

Edit your /etc/ssmtp/ssmtp.conf

# The person who gets all mail for userids < 1000
# Make this empty to disable rewriting.

# The place where the mail goes. The actual machine name is required no
